About This Playground

There are two accessible playgrounds divided by age groups. In addition to the accessible playgrounds, there is an accessible Sensory Botanical Garden which stimulates the senses through use of flowers and plants (sight and smell), musical instruments, chimes, and seed pods (hearing), textured plants (touch), and edible herbs (taste)

  • Smooth surface throughout

  • Ramps to play components
    Ramps to play components A path for a wheelchair to travel, not just to the playground, but within it as well.
  • Accessible swing
    Accessible swing Swings with features such as high backs and harnesses to assist special-needs children.
  • Sound-play components
    Sound-play components Outdoor devices that make sound or music, such as drums and marimbas.
  • Visually-impaired play components
    Visually-impaired play components Playground features that include Braille panels, interesting textures or fragrances.
  • Safety fence
